Here are some photos from the lost city of Petra, near Aqaba, Jordan. This place is pretty magical but words don’t really do it justice. Enjoy these pictures!

The entrance to the city goes through a long narrow canyon that twists its way down to the Treasury.

The Treasury. Probably the most iconic image at Petra. The top is riddled with bullet holes where people have shot at it, hoping to break it open because they believed the holy grail was inside.

There are many carvings along the way into the city.
