My recording of the Hindemith Konzertstuck for Two Alto Saxophones. (I’m playing both parts)
Here are a couple of solos from recent shows. A blues solo on a somewhat obscure tune called ‘The Mountain of Love,’ and a personal favorite of mine, ‘A Whiter Shade of Pale.’
This is an original tune by my band, Sobriquet.
A bossa standard recorded in Goshen, IN with the Arko-Chavez quartet.
Another Sobriquet tune, titled “You’ll Always be a 6 (to me),” which started out as several simple melodies and evolved into a rather massive composition.
