Here’s another demo track from my current project. This one is called Tico Tico, and was composed by Zequinha de Abreu in 1917. The first recording of this tune was done by Orquestra Colbaz in 1931. My version is quite a bit more modern, with overdriven guitars and synths. You might also recognize the tune from the 1947 movie, Copacabana, where Carmen Miranda performed it live.

Once again, the accompaniment was done by Andrew Worboys. I’m not sure if i’ll perform it on tenor or on soprano in the end. Thoughts?
