New Recording — Castile Rose

Today I’m releasing a new work that I’ve written for soprano saxophone, bass clarinet, vibraphone, marimba, piano, and drums called Castile Rose. A work of unrelenting optimism, Castile Rose is loosely inspired by John Steinbeck’s novella, Tortilla Flat, where Danny and the paisanos pass many an afternoon on Danny’s porch, under the castile rose bush. If you’re looking to tune out and groove out for a while, this might be the track for you. Only available on Bandcamp; purchases appreciated but listening is always free.
A special thanks to Thollem McDonas for recording the keyboard percussion parts for me. Thollem is an incredible artist with a huge catalog. Please check him out if you get the chance!
